Edwin Hamilton Gifford, DD (18 December 1820 - 4 May 1905) was an eminent Anglican priest and author in the second half of the 19th century.〔“Who was Who” 1897-1990 London, A & C Black, 1991 ISBN 0-7136-3457-X〕 Edwin Gifford was educated at Shrewsbury and St John's College, Cambridge.
